High Jump!!!

"That is really high Mrs Paraha". Today room 8 practiced high jump. Tomorrow is athletics it is going to be fun !!! :) There is going to be lots of Activies. Only the Middle Syndicate and Senior Syndicate are doing it but lets get back to practicing. We were all going to go on high jump. Summer got over the highest she showed that she can go high so she helped me persevere on high jump. I'm glad she is in room8.:) !!!!!!

Managing myself

Room8 are managing ourself's to get our 10 ticks. If we don't get our 10 ticks we can"t go to Ngaruawahia picnic. To get 10 ticks I need to work on not talking to anyone and sit up nicely. I need 7 more ticks.

Flax Flowers

In room 8 we made flax flowers. We went through lots of steps to make green flax flowers. They take along time to go brown. The best thing about it was we had a visitor from room 6. She was Maori and thaught us how to make them, the class was happy. I can't wait until we do it again.

Rugby World Cup

Today room 8 had to dress up wearing all red. We got to wear a rugby top. We went to the assembly and showed off our colours. "U.S.A, U.S.A" we said. Every class had a different country to support. There were lots of colours. Flags were waving up and down. Side to side.

Current Events

On Thursdays room8 did current events. Some people forgot their current events. We all had groups. Some people got shy but we had to persevere by not being shy. There were lots of news. People were brave and spoke clearly. The thing that I enjoyed was being with my group and sharing my news.
