...and the noise stopped...

..and the noise stopped...

One dark night I was sitting on my bed reading my favourite

Horror story called BEWARE OF THE NOISE I was in the middle of the novel when I got rudely interrupted by this noise I didn't know what it was? I opened the door slightly thinking it was my cat Lulu but it wasn't. What could possibly be that noise? I knew that it wasn't my mum because she went to sleep early and it defiantly wasn't my dad because he lives in another house, but just then the noise stopped. Maybe my story was coming to LIFE...

Reading to Room2

On Wednesday the 3rd of December Sarah.R and me went to Room 2 to read our storeys.  We have been writing these storeys in writers club now we have finished. We didn't want to share them in assembly or on the message speaker. So we got asked to read to Room 2 we said ok! When we went to Room 2 i was nervous and I thought Sarah.R was too because we didn't say much when we walked in. Sarah.R went 1st and I went 2nd. Sarah.Rs story was fantastic. After that I read i got really nervous i kept on forgetting my words but it was fun any way.

Ooblick

On Monday the18th Room 15 made Ooblick it was fun!
We needed these ingredients:
*1 cup of Cornflour
*1\2 a cup of water
*(Optional)2 drips of food colouring
*Medium sized bowl
The steps to make it were:
1. Pour the cup of cornflour in the bowl
2.Next grab the half cup of water and add the 2 drops of food colouring
3.Pour water slowly in to bowl (Tip make sure you put the water in at different times put a little bit to start then pour more in)
4.mix with hands through until gooey and feels all mixed
5. Play with the ooblick
This recipe will make enough for 2 people to have lots of fun with.
Try this roll it in a ball in your hands then leave it and it will melt in your hand.
When our class made it it was gooey when we played with it it was hard when we left it went gooey.

Bike Wise

On the 7th of November Room 15 did bike wise a Police lady came in to talk to us about biking on the road. We practised our hand signals on the courts and our stop hand siganls. We had to make sure that our helmet was on properly and make sure it was in good condition. Then we checked that our bike was all good. The Police lady made a track on the courts and it was like a road it had give was and it had stops and round abouts. It was like a real road but for bikes It was really fun and really cool I want to do it again!

The Haunted Basement

THE HAUNTED BASEMENT!

Niki was existed because her mum and she had just moved into their new house. Niki's mum asked her if she wants the upstairs bedroom or the basement as her room. Niki chose the basement for her bedroom because it was big enough for her things. So all day she was unpacking. That dark stormy night Niki was sitting on her old bed in her new bedroom when she spots, her wardrobe door knob twist and the door opens but no one was there. She got under her covers her heart was pounding more than when she finished the weet bix triathlon. After that she heard thumping and creaking from the old wooden stairs... But she was tired so she fell asleep. In the morning she didn’t hear creaking from the stairs nor did she see the door knob twist. But she was still scared, she felt really uncomfortable in her bedroom. Niki wished her and her mum stayed at their old house. When her mum calls out “Niki time to have breakfast” she goes upstairs. Niki told her mum about her bedroom. Niki’s mum tells her don’t go in your room for a while. Niki sits at the table thoughts kept running through her head, about the thing in her room maybe it was a ghost but she doesn’t know...

My Triorama

ANZAC Question

Why are ANZAC biscuits named ANZAC Biscuits?
1. The ANZAC bisucits originally named soldiers biscuits and were only named ANZAC biscuits towards the end of the war after the long unsuccessful Gallipoli Campaign. It wasn't exression of patriotic pride in the Australian and New Zealand troops serving over seas.

2.The ANZAC biscuits were named ANZAC because they were made by the women at home and they  sold it to buy small necessitioes and luturies. For the ANZAC troops in world war 1.

Caving sounds like water trudging and water drops falling.
Caving smells like old water, mud and rot.
Caving tastes like rotten muddy water.
Caving feels like slimy walls, squishy mud and tight squeziness.
